EXCERPT

Just over the mountain, not very far away, there lived two little bears. One was named So and one was named Oh. They were brothers and they were both as black as coal.  Day and night, So and Oh were together.  They tumbled and rolled, pushed and tugged, jumped and bumped.
So loved to play tricks on Oh.  One day he covered himself with leaves, lots and lots of leaves; that way So knew Oh would never see him.  But when Oh came looking for him, So got so tickled the leaves overtop him shook and crackled.  Oh found him.
Quick as a fox Oh ran and jumped right in the middle of the leaves!  Kaplop!
"Oh, oh, oh,"  So yelled as Oh laughed, "Ha, ha, ha!"
Then Oh said to So,  "I found you, So!  You can't hide from me.  I know how you think!"
"No you don't!  We're different.  My thoughts are my thoughts, not yours, Oh!"  So  shook his head as he ran all around Oh.
"But, So--we're twins!  We can listen to each other's thoughts without talking,"  Oh said.
"No, no, no--you can't hear me when I'm not talking!"  So held his cheeks as his head swung back and forth.  "Why sometimes even I don't know what I'm saying."
